Peace upon
to you,
Usually, I
will post a bunch of words for you . At least you will gain any useful information
whenever you visit my blog. For today, I think I wanna share my opinion towards
our society. Malaysian society. What was happening to them in this era ?
As we all know, THEY owe technology and we seem desperately need their technology. Nowadays,
smartphones are everywhere. WiFi is like a heartbeat for everyone. Whenever we
go, the first thing that we search for is Internet.
What did you do with the internet? Searching for the current issues ? I bet it
is not the reason why we search for it. Basically, we use the internet to have
a chit-chat with our friends and updating either Twitter, Facebook or
Instagram.
Based on my observation, our society
is lack in practicing reading in their daily life. Our society did not see the
advantages of reading. My parents encourage me and my siblings to buy any book that we want without considering the cost. I am very grateful to have parents like them. When I was in Davis, California I used to see american
peoples clutched their book whenever they go. When they are alone or waiting
for a bus to fetch them, they will open their book and read it. The same thing
happen when I was in Indonesia, I saw a lady put their earphones on and eventually
read her book. Whereas, Malay will enjoy their smartphones. Why we can be like
them ? I am not asking Malaysian to be like them but at least we have to do
something to achieve 2020 mission.
I am on my way to finish my english
book entitled Obsidian Mirror. I will bring along my book whenever I go because
I start to love it. I am enamored by the fact that reading do help me in
improving my english.
Another thing is when I went to Big Bad Wolf last Saturday, I
was taken aback by the number of Malay compare to Chinese and Indian. I cant
deny that Chinese was everywhere but I was so grateful that the number of Malay
was quite same . Thanks to Allah, there are still Malay that totally in books especially a
teenagers. But, would the small group change our society? Our nation? Yes, if we have an intention to change.
Well, this is my opinion. I am truly
sorry if I get anything wrong. I don’t mean
to be races but I just want to see Malay wake up from their deep sleep.
Why when Melaka was on top of the world and be one of the popular trading
centre in 1950s, they were able to do it ? They are Malay. So do we. Why we
can’t follow their step ? Why not ?
I hope my
entry wont be an issue. This is what I
was thinking when I was studying under MARA. To think about my society.
Do comment.
Thanks.

Good to know that many of young minds today engage themselves in reading. A good change indeed. If you ask, I would say that my house is a very dull, gloomy, incomplete house without my mini library. So yeah, keep on reading! ;)
