Book Review #3

 Peace be upon you

Hello fella, well i had finished the book entilted Snow in Summer a long time ago. Just  I don't have much time to make the summary of the story. Okay well, to make it clear or to give a rough idea about this book, what I can say is this is adaptation from the most popular fairytale, Snow White. The story line is there. What the author really do is she changed a little bit about its storyline. She come up with a new idea. She makes Snow's father in enchanted not Snow.

For me, it is quite interesting. But then, it is very predictable. Most of the fairy tale, true kiss can break the spell, but in this story, the only way to wake her father up from his deep sleep is by killing the stepmother. At the end, Snow fight to death for saving her father.

Summer is as beautiful as her father's garden. And her life in the mountains of West Virginia seems like a fairy tale; her parents sing and dance with her, Cousin Nancy dotes on her, and she is about to get a new baby brother. But when the baby dies soon after he's born, taking Summer's mama with him, Summer's fairy-tale life turns grim. Things get even worse when her father marries a woman who brings poisons and magical mirrors into Summer's world. Stepmama puts up a pretty face, but Summer suspects she's up to no good - and is afraid she's powerless to stop her.

The reader who like to read fairy tale, this book is very suit with you.
