3. competent- having enough skill or knowledge to do
something well or to the necessary standard
Ex: Make sure the firm is competent to carry out the work
4. Bricker-argue about petty and trivial matters
Ex: The conference speakers disliked one another and might have been expected to bricker.
5. Accord- Give or grand someone power, agreement
Ex: it turned out that on several substantive issues they were in complete accord and were able to avoid petty squabbling.
